Upgrading to InRoads XM

This training manual focuses on changes to the highway and road design functions contained in the XM version of InRoads (for those coming from 2004 (8.5) or earlier versions). You’ll learn to use new tools and concepts for improving productivity when applying InRoads to design projects. This includes how to:

• Create templates using components with the new Template Editor.
• Utilize the new Roadway Designer interface to model proposed projects.
• Set up Superelevation using the Superelevation Wizard.
• Edit templates and end conditions at single and multiple stations.
• Create a design surface from your corridor.
