This MicroStation training course not only provides a review of 3D basics needed to work with 3D graphics in civil design files, it also teaches 3D drafting techniques including how to use AccuDraw in 3D. Students go beyond drafting basics and learn how to utilize MicroStation’s 3D Construct and Surface Modeling tools to create a 3D bridge model. After creating the 3D model, MicroStation visualization and rendering tools are covered, including V8i’s new Luxology rendering engine. Students learn to assign materials and lighting conditions to create a more realistic model and incorporate this model into a 3D interchange project. The course also covers how to create a fly-through/drive through video of the bridge and interchange models. |
